Terms of use

Version 2. Last updated: 13 October 2026

1Who runs Tiltanic

Tiltanic is made and run by SawannaMicroHolding - Piotr Lewandowski, a sole trader in Poland. In these terms, “we” and “us” mean SawannaMicroHolding - Piotr Lewandowski. Our details are below.

SawannaMicroHolding - Piotr Lewandowski
NIP: 5020104314
Miedziana 12, 59-100 Polkowice, Poland

Contact: privacy@tiltanic.com. You can also write to us by post, at the address above.

Our contact point, for you and for the authorities, is privacy@tiltanic.com. You can write to us in English or in Polish.

We write these terms in English and translate them into the other languages of the game. If you find a mistake in a translation, please tell us.

2What these terms cover

These terms are the rules between you and us when you use Tiltanic: the game at tiltanic.com and the pages of this site. They are the “terms of use” that the law asks us to give you. You can read them at any time on this page, and you can save or print them.

The privacy policy says which data we handle, and why. Where you pay through Stripe, its own terms apply to its part.

You make a contract with us for the free service when you start to use Tiltanic. By using it, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use Tiltanic.

3What Tiltanic is

Tiltanic is a game about a tiny boat. You play it free in your browser, with no account and no signup.

These are the services:

4What you need to play

You need:

Tiltanic keeps your progress in your browser’s local storage, and game files in a cache on your device. If you block these, the game may not work. The privacy policy has the details.

Do not play while you walk, drive or ride. Hold your phone firmly.

The internet has risks, such as false pages and false mails. Tiltanic lives only at tiltanic.com. We never ask you for a card number or a password by mail or message. Keep your licence key secret.

5Rules of use

Please play fair. Please do not:

The server checks every ranked run. If a run is not real, we may remove its score. If someone breaks these rules again and again, we may stop their device from using the online parts of the game: the leaderboard, crews, notes and short links. We do this only for a good reason. If you think we made a mistake, write to us.

The code, the art, the music and the story of the boat belong to us, or to the people who gave us a licence. You may play the game and share links to it. You may stream and record the game and earn money from your videos. Please do not copy it and present it as your own.

6The free game

Playing Tiltanic is free. We do not charge for the game, for the leaderboard or for friend lines.

We may show ads. They come from Google (AdSense on the web). The privacy policy explains the data.

We make and run the game with care, but we are a very small business. We cannot promise that it works without a break or an error. Some parts, such as the leaderboard, need our servers. We may change the game, add parts to it or remove parts of it.

7The pirate pack

The pirate pack is an optional purchase that you pay for once. You do not need it to play. The free game stays free. One person makes and runs Tiltanic, and this pack helps to keep the game going.

The pack gives you:

We may add more to the pack later. We will not take away what the pack gave you.

The pack works for as long as Tiltanic runs. This is not a promise of “forever” or “for life”. If we decide to stop running Tiltanic, we will tell players on tiltanic.com ahead of time.

One licence works in every browser where you enter your licence key. You do not need to buy the pack twice.

8Price and payment

The shop shows the price before you pay. We set one price for each country, lower where people earn less, so the shop shows the price for your country. It is in your currency where we offer it. Every price includes all taxes: the price that you see is the price that you pay. Your payment provider may show the price in another currency. The checkout page shows the final price before you confirm.

The pack is paid once. There is no subscription and no renewal. We may change the price for new buyers. A change never affects a purchase that is done.

On the web, you pay on a page of Stripe, our payment provider. While Stripe Managed Payments is in use, the seller of record is Link, a Stripe company: Link sells the pack to you, takes the payment, handles the taxes and sends you the receipt. The checkout page and the receipt show the label “Sold through Link”. If Managed Payments is not in use for a purchase, we are the seller, and Stripe only takes the payment. The checkout page and your receipt name the seller.

We never see your card details. They go to Stripe or to Google.

9Delivery

The pack starts at once, when the payment is done. You get the pack on the device where you bought it, and you see your licence key on the screen. After a web purchase, we also send the key by email, one time, to the address that you gave at checkout. Please keep the key.

Some payment methods are slow, for example a bank debit. Then the pack starts when the payment clears.

The pack is digital. We ship nothing.

10Your licence key

The licence key has 16 characters. It is a secret, like a password. Anyone who has your key can use your licence. Please keep it safe, and do not post it in public. Do not sell it or give it away.

To use the pack on another device or browser, open the shop, choose to enter a key, and type your key. If you lost the key, ask the shop to send it to your email address. It is the address that you used when you bought.

If a key is shared in public, or used in a way that looks like misuse, we may stop it. A refund also ends the licence of that purchase. The privacy policy says which data we keep for a licence.

11Your 14-day right to withdraw

If you are a consumer, you have 14 days to withdraw from an online purchase without giving a reason. This comes from Directive 2011/83/EU, and in Poland from the act on consumer rights, article 27.

There is an exception for digital content that is not delivered on a physical medium. You lose the right to withdraw when we start to deliver the pack, if three things are true. You asked us to start at once, with your express consent. You said that you know that you lose the right to withdraw when we start. And we confirmed this to you on a durable medium, such as an email. This is article 16(m) of Directive 2011/83/EU and article 38, paragraph 1, point 13 of the Polish act on consumer rights.

The pack starts at once, so the shop asks for your consent before you pay. It is a separate box, apart from the terms. Without your consent, the shop does not let you buy. Our confirmation mail repeats your consent and the loss of the right. The receipt of Link may say it too.

If you do not want to lose the 14-day right, please do not buy the pack. You can still play the free game.

12Refunds

If you bought, the payment and the refund go through Stripe. Write to us at privacy@tiltanic.com, or use the link in your receipt, and we will help you.

A refund ends the licence of that purchase. The pirate outfits, the pirate titles, the pirate boat on the leaderboard and the no-ads setting then stop working. A refund goes back to the way that you paid, unless you agree to another way.

13Complaints

If something does not work, or you think that we broke these terms or the law, write to us. In Polish law this is a “reklamacja”, a complaint.

Write to privacy@tiltanic.com, or by post to the address above. Please tell us:

We answer within 14 days after we receive your complaint. It costs you nothing.

If the pirate pack does not match what these terms promise, the law gives you rights. We must bring the pack into line with these terms. If we cannot, you may ask for a lower price, or end the contract and get a refund. These rights come from Directive (EU) 2019/770 and from the Polish act on consumer rights. No term of ours takes them away.

14Help outside a court

We want to solve every problem with you. If we cannot, a consumer can ask these bodies for help:

If we cannot solve your complaint, we will tell you in writing whether we agree to take part in an out-of-court procedure.

15Our responsibility

We make Tiltanic with care, but it is a game, and we give it as it is. We do not promise that it works without a break or an error.

Where the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect loss, such as lost profit, or for the loss of the progress that you keep on your device. We are fully responsible where the law does not allow a limit, for example for harm to life or health, for intent and for gross negligence.

If you are a consumer, nothing in these terms takes away a right that the law gives to you.

16Young people

Tiltanic is for a general audience. It is not made for children under 13. If you are under 13, please do not use it.

If you are under 18, please ask a parent or guardian before you buy the pirate pack. If a parent or guardian did not agree to a purchase, they can write to us, and we will look at the case.

17Ending the contract

You can stop using Tiltanic at any time, with no notice. There is nothing to cancel. Stop playing, and clear the site data. The contract for the free service ends when you stop.

We may end the service, or a part of it. If we end the whole game, we will tell players on tiltanic.com ahead of time. We may stop the access of a person who breaks the rules of use again and again.

18Changes to these terms

We may change these terms, for example when the law changes, when we add or remove a part of the game, or to fix a mistake or a security risk.

The new version appears on this page with a new version number and a new date. We tell you in the game or on this page at least 14 days before an important change starts. If you do not agree with a change, you can stop using Tiltanic.

A change never takes away what you already bought.

19Law and courts

The law of Poland applies to these terms and to your use of Tiltanic. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection that the consumer law of your country gives you, where it is stronger. A consumer can bring a case to a court in Poland, or to a court in the country where they live.
